Team Online Check-In Information

Welcome to the Hamilton Emancipation Cup 2026!

Our Online Team Check-In is now open. All participating teams are required to complete the online check-in process before the tournament.

**Deadline: Sunday, July 19, 2026 – 11:59 PM***

Failure to submit all required documents by the deadline may result in tournament disqualification or forfeiture.

Required Documents


1. Official Team Roster with Photos

Upload your association-approved roster that includes colour player photos.


2. Travel Permit (If Applicable)

A valid Travel Permit is required for all teams traveling from outside the Hamilton District Soccer Association (HDSA).


3. Signed Tournament Code of Conduct

A team official must review, acknowledge, and sign the Tournament Code of Conduct on behalf of the team.


4. Tournament Master Roster

The Tournament Master Roster must be completed and uploaded during the Online Team Check-In process. Please see your check in email with attached documents required.


5. PowerUp Team Management

All participating teams are required to complete their team information in PowerUp.

Once logged in, navigate to:

Team Management → Manage Teams

Please ensure the following individuals are entered into PowerUp:

  • All coaches who will be on the bench during the tournament.
  • All managers who will be on the bench during the tournament.
  • All registered players.


The following information must be entered for every player:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Ontario Soccer Number (OS#)
  • Date of Birth
  • Jersey Number

Call-Up & TEP Players


For any player participating as a Call-Up or under a Temporary Eligibility Permit (TEP), please indicate their status beside their last name.


Example

Jordan Smith is a Call-Up.

Last Name: Smith (CALLUP)

or

Emily Brown is playing under a Temporary Eligibility Permit.


Last Name: Brown (TEP)

This information is required to generate the tournament's official digital game sheets.

6. Digital Game Sheets

  • Printed game sheets will not be accepted.
  • Official game sheets will be generated directly from the information entered into PowerUp and supplied electronically to referees by the Tournament Committee before each match.
  • Please ensure all player and team official information is accurate before the submission deadline.


7. Call-Up Players & Playing Up Policy

**U14–U18 Age Groups

  • Call-Up players are permitted for U14 to U18 teams in accordance with Ontario Soccer rules.
  • The following requirements apply:
  • All Call-Up players must be listed on both the Tournament Master Roster and the PowerUp Roster before the tournament.
  • Each Call-Up player must have (CALLUP) indicated beside their last name in the PowerUp roster.
  • Teams must upload a copy of the Call-Up player's Ontario Soccer-approved roster from their registered team during the Online Team Check-In process.
  • All Call-Up players must meet Ontario Soccer eligibility requirements.

**U8–U13 Age Groups

  • Call-Up players are not permitted for U8–U13 age groups in accordance with Ontario Soccer rules.
  • Players who are playing up are permitted only if they are already listed on the approved Ontario Soccer roster for the team they will be representing during the tournament. No additional Call-Up players will be permitted in these age groups.

Roster & Game Sheet Changes

Once Online Team Check-In has been completed, any roster or game sheet changes must be made in person at Tournament Headquarters.

Deadline

All roster and game sheet changes must be completed at least 90 minutes before your team's first scheduled match.

No roster or game sheet changes will be permitted once your team's first match has kicked off.
